Membership Criteria

The National Executive Council of the Institute has approved four categories of memberships including:


  • Graduate
  • Associate
  • Fellow
  • Honorary Fellow and
  • Corporate Membership


ICIM APPROVED MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA:


  • ICIM Graduate MEMBERSHIP (GradCIM)

The Institute graduate membership is open to student members who have passed all the papers of the ICIM qualifying examination or graduated from Institutions approved by the Institute Council. Graduate members are allowed to use the post-nominal GradCIM


  • ICIM ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (ACIM)

The Institute’s Graduate members or graduates from Institutions approved by the Institute Council can apply for the Associate membership grade provided they meet the following condition:

  1. Be a Graduate member in good standing;
  2. Have completed at least 7 years work experience in corporate management, Interim Management and or related discipline;

Associate members are allowed to use the post-nominal ACIM.


  • ICIM FELLOW MEMBERSHIP (FCIM)

The Institute’s Associate member or graduates from Institutions approved by the
Institute Council can apply for the Fellow membership grade provided they meet the following condition:

  1. Be an Associate member in good standing;
  2. Have completed at least 10 years work experience in corporate management, Interim Management and or related discipline;

Fellow members are allow to use the post-nominal FCIM.


  • ICIM HONORARY FELLOW MEMBERSHIP (HFCIM)

The Institute may grant honorary fellow membership to any reputable professionals who have contributed immensely and or rendered outstanding service to humanity, or the promotion of ICIM objectives.


  • CORPORATE MEMBER

The Institute’s corporate membership is contracted at organizational level and offers a range of services and discounts to help large teams (over 50) motivate, train and qualify their teams. The Institute Council requires that corporate members are able to host and or sponsor at least one event per year, to support ICIM State Chapters events, National events and International events.
